International congresses form an integral part of the IAML activities. They take place annually, each year in a different country. The IAML 2024 Congress is being organised by Stellenbosch University Library and Information Service and representatives from the University of Cape Town. It will take place in Stellenbosch Sunday, 23 June to Friday, 28 June 2024. The main venue is the Konservatorium building, which houses the Music Department and the Music Library, one of the largest academic music libraries in South Africa.
The IAML 2024 Congress in Stellenbosch will be the first on African soil. Hosting the congress in Stellenbosch will give delegates the opportunity to experience our diverse culture, which includes our unique music and art scene.
